REVIEW OF A WONDERFUL BOOK CAN’T HURT ME BY DAVID GOGGINS

This is a book about how to give your best, and do the great work in most difficult situations.

In this book writer states that “our brain wants to remind us that we are suffering and our goal is impossible” and during describing his journey, he teaches how to rewire our brain, achieve impossible and make it a habit.

This is not a quick fix motivational book, this book clearly states that life is hard and there is no need to feel sorry about it, you have to get over it, and go to war with yourself and the only person you are playing against is yourself.

“Life is one big mind game” – David Goggins

The book is written by a retired Navy SEAL, who completed multiple most difficult trainings like SEAL training, U.S Army Ranger School Training, Air Force Tactical Air Controller Training, Competed more then sixty ultra -marathons (any race longer than marathon length of 42.195 km), Triathlons (multisport race consisting of swimming, cycling, and running), and ultra-triathlons (we can only imagine).

He is a also a public speaker and his book is inspiring millions of people across the globe. This book provide a view of his difficult childhood journey and his personal ups and downs.

He describes transformation and level of endurance during seal training, it feels that you are living that pain, and this read realize us that how we are addicted to the mediocracy and easy approach, his enthusiasm really moves and make us to see the pain and suffering as chance of personal growth and rewiring our brain to achieve anything.

-This mission is not about to make yourself feel better. This mission is about being better and having a greater impact on world – David Goggins

He also believes that most of us give up when we have reached to our nearly 40% of capacity and we don’t have to be afraid to increase our tolerance and go through suffering to expand our limits.

Every chapter is embedded with a technique and Challenge is given at the end, which help us to understand the concept more clearly in a practical way.

If you want to read a different self help book, in form of a personal real life, nearly extra human approach towards the aim, this is a must read.

Hope you liked the review, keep going, god bless……
